Melbourne to the Red Centre...and back again!

What made us set off on this adventure, a fortnight ago? Too many comfortable beach holidays and an itch for something different. That, and the embarrassment of having seen more of the rest of the world than our own very special part of it.
Well I can truly say that we have seen a LOT more of Australia now, which has made us want to see a whole LOT more. Who knows, next year we may drive to Darwin, Cape York or Perth!

So, starting today (with some photos) and over the next couple of weeks I am going to share my travel journal and pics with you. I hope you'll come travelling with me.

Our journey marked in white (Thanks to vidiani.com for the free map!)

Crossroad at Port Augusta

    1. The climb was closed due to bad weather, but we wouldn't have climbed anyway - disrespectful to the local Aboriginal community.
